Gooey Butter Cake
Absolutely LOVED this dessert! Our whole meal and overall experience were amazing!!
Grilled Salmon*
The salmon is always cooked perfectly, I like to pair it with their asparagus and roasted red potatoes. This is my go to on the Hereford House menu.
Jumbo Sea Hogs
Instead of ordering an entree like I usually do, I ordered the Jumbo Sea Hogs and a loaded baked potato. Both were delicious and just the right portion size. The bacon wrapped around each shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp were enormous. We frequently dine at the Hereford House and I like to try the different entrees, but this combination was a winner for me!

Billionaire Chocolate Cake
This cake with the amazing cherries is one of my favorites. It is a very nice sized portion to share. We love the Independence location! Chris, Alena, Tina always take very good care of us. Thank you!
Goat Cheese & Habanero Jam
If I could replace the blood in my body with the goat cheese and habanero jam, I would. If I could marry the goat cheese and habanero jam, I would. If I could vote for the goat cheese and habanero jam for 2028 president, I would.
Grilled Salmon*
We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Herford House and it was amazing. Sandy handled all the details and kept in touch with me. I was able to enjoy the evening because I knew everything was being taken care of. We had a party of 40 people, including some toddlers, and Sandy and Drew was on top of everything! Drinks were constantly filled, plates cleared, and the food was served quickly, hot, and to perfection.
The 1957 Salad
I had the full salad and a bowl of prime rib soup. Very delicious.
Biscuit & Gravy
The biscuits and gravy at the Hereford house are the best I have ever had! This dish keeps me coming back! Love, Love, Love it! Most of the time we sit in the bar area as Aleana, Chris, Keith, Gunner and Tina take very good care of us. We truly love the Independence restaurant and come in several times a week to enjoy! Calamari
The calamari from this Hereford restaurant was amazing it was crispy and my food was hot and the staff at that location was very polite and kind. I would surely come back here again and try the calamari
